“For Kendal, by Kendal” – Torchlight needs Volunteers

Kendal Torchlight Carnival is, and always has been run by volunteers. Throughout the year the event is planned and organised by a core group.

We also count on an army of amazing volunteers on Torchlight weekend itself. Without these volunteers we cannot run the event. Although this year is a little different, we still need volunteers to help us throughout the weekend.

If you can spare us a few hours please join us!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Torchlight Marshalls

Torchlight Marshals are part of the essential team of volunteers without whom Torchlight can’t happen. This year will be a little different as we have shorter routes with foot based processions on Friday night. We train and develop our Torchlight Marshals to professional standards, and they support a 45-year old Kendalian tradition that enhances our community and our town. This year we need just 40-50! Contact us to become a Torchlight Marshal.
