Indigo Russell
Indigo Russell is a young art student with roots in Kendal now studying at Leeds Art University.
She combines physical print and mark making techniques within her digital and photoshop work to produce mixed media collages and repeat patterns. Indigo has been working with community groups alongside professional artists since she was 15, the skills and techniques she has learnt over these years she hopes to take forward with her as she progresses into her creative career.
Why I like being involved in Torchlight
I have had an involvement with Torchlight for the past 5 years and have played a role within the Creative Crew for
the last 3. Torchlight has provided me with so many amazing opportunities and given me an inside look into
how a creative organisation runs. There are so many different moving parts that go into putting on the
procession and street party and being able to play my small part in that has been an invaluable experience.
