This summer, the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal was buzzing with creativity and joy as we hosted a series of free Torchlight workshops that captivated children of all ages. These sessions, designed to inspire and engage young minds, were a resounding success, drawing in families from across the community.
A Summer of Creativity and Fun
Our summer workshops offered a diverse range of lantern making. from giant planets to bats and moths there was something for everyone, each session was crafted to spark imagination and creativity.
Highlights of the Torchlight Workshop
- Children had the opportunity to explore the magic of making lanterns. They crafted their own designs using willow and tissue paper, learning about 3D structures and how to manipulate the materials into something magnificent. This hands-on experience was super fun, sparking curiosity and creativity.
