Kendal Torchlight Carnival is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to help bring together the incredible team of people who make our event possible.
This role is all about connecting, recruiting, organising and communicating with our amazing volunteers in the lead-up to and during the event weekend.
Our volunteers are at the heart of Torchlight – from welcoming visitors at the information tent, to marshalling the procession, adding battery packs to lanterns, helping move costumes and props between venues, and supporting the event behind the scenes. Quite simply, without them, Torchlight wouldn’t happen.
As Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll help:
- Recruit and organise volunteers
- Keep everyone informed and in the right place at the right time
- Support volunteers so they feel confident and valued
- Be a key point of contact during the event weekend
