2023 Procession Route

This year the procession returns to the town centre. Covid restrictions meant that the procession was unable to run, but this year, the procession will take place with a slightly altered route. There will not be any vehicles in this year’s procession, but it will still be a spectacular sight with the help of our amazing artists, visiting participants and the local community.

Roads Close: 6pm

Procession Start Time: 7pm

Procession Start Location: Abbot Hall

Procession Finish : Approx 9.30pm subject to entry numbers

Procession End Location: Abbot Hall
