In the unit opposite The Works store
No booking needed, just turn up in old clothes - it could get messy!
These are 'drop in' workshops at K Village, so people can stay for as little or as long as they like from 10 min upwards (as long as there is space).
It takes a couple of days to complete each of these big illuminated carnival masks using recycled items so it's a team effort.
Adults/parents do need to stay and supervise their children, and hopefully take part in the making too - it's a team effort!
These are family friendly workshops open to all ages. The younger children will need more "hands on" one to one support from their parents.
If you want to carry one of these spectacular masks in the 2013 Kendal Torchlight Procession, please let the organisers know at the workshop.
At the final workshop on 31st August you can make your own simple solo mask, though these won’t be illuminated as the larger ones are.
